  • How long does it take to open a bank account?

    For most people, the average turnaround time for opening a bank account is 3 to 4 weeks. Our delivery time is an estimate. There are things beyond our control (e.g. international customs, shipping times and bank compliance. We cannot guarantee that your bank account will be opened by a certain date.

  • How much does this service cost?

    350 per account. The account can be for an individual or a joint account with several holders. Our fee includes the cost of signature certification by a law firm in Portugal. It will not be necessary to notarize or apostille any of the documents.

  • Can my bank cards be sent internationally?

    Yes, your cards can be sent outside Portugal at no extra cost. With your account, you are entitled to two debit cards, two credit cards and a free web card.

  • Is there a minimum age requirement to open a bank account?

    Yes, you must be at least 18 years old. When opening a joint account, both account holders need to meet the minimum age requirement.

  • Do I need a NIF document to open a bank account?

    Yes, you need your NIF document to open a bank account, not just the number. If you don't have a NIF yet, you can order one here!
